We are located at 706 Fort Street, Victoria, BC V8W 1H2 (between Douglas Street & Blanshard Street).

June through October, we are open Wednesdays - Sundays; November through May, we are open Thursdays through Sundays. Our hours are 2pm-10pm. Check our Google profile for holiday closing .

Entry is $15-40 (sliding scale) per Person over age 3

Why sliding scale? The Artcade is run by artists not M.B.A.s. We want to be affordable for everyone. Our minimum covers our rent, that’s all we expect and we’re thankful for it. However, more helps us grow. Guests who have the means, and are inspired by what we do, can help us create more art by paying more. We also offer a range of original merchandise (t-shirts, magnets, stickers, posters, and more)!

Will we accept more than $40? Absolutely, more allows us to commission more artists, invest in more electronics, buy more antique machines to mutate…!

Every guest is equally valued and all will have access to the same experience. Beep Boop.

  • The Artcade operates on a sliding scale. Our minimum fee is $15 per person ages 4 and up.

  • The ARTCADE is an all-ages experience.

    The mutant machines are built for adults but children of all ages (toddlers - teens) love them as well. Small children may need adult assistance to access features, and we ask adult guardians to ensure their minors do not treat the art as a playground. The machines are well built but not jungle gyms. This is an experience you do with your children.

  • Reservations are not necessary.

    The ARTCADE does have an occupancy limit and if we are at capacity we will ask guests to wait. If you have more than 20 guests or want to ensure a timed entry please email us in advance monkeyc.artcade@gmail.com.

  • No, we are not a bar or restaurant.

  • All persons entering the ARTCADE are required to receive an “*anti-radiation pin”, available at our front desk, before passing through our Decontamination Portal, and we recommend comfortable shoes.

    *anti-radiation" pins are in theme only - this is art, not science. There is no actual radiation.

  • Absolutely! For private parties, work events, school groups, church gatherings or whatever, or to book a visit for groups over 20, please email us monkeyc.artcade@gmail.com to discuss.
