Mutant Machines on the Move: From Seattle to Victoria!

We’ve got a lot of exciting updates to share!

Monkey C Interactive is bringing a few of our fan-favourite mutant machines, the Meow Mixer, Registroid, and Telephorgan, to this year’s Pacific Northwest Arts & Tech Symposium. Happening Saturday, September 27, at the 9th Ave Gallery in Seattle, the symposium gathers practitioners, educators, and community organizers working at the intersections of art, technology, and design. We’re honoured to represent Canada at this one-day event alongside artists from around the world, sharing ideas and building connections across a diverse creative landscape.

While in Seattle, our Monkey C representative will stop by the Connections Museum, a treasure trove of telecom history. This incredible space features working examples of switching systems from the 20th century, plus central plant equipment, telephones, telegraphs, and teletypes. In other words: the original beeps and boops—and we can’t wait to dork out over them.

And - Back home in Victoria, we’re proud to support the Queer Care Fair at their fundraising event this weekend. Several Artcade gift passes will be up for grabs in their raffle, helping raise funds while inviting more folks into the playful, mutant world we’re building together.
