Award-Winning Artists 🏆🏆🏆
🎉CONGRATULATIONS to two of our collaborating artists, David Parfit and Denver Jackson, for all the well-deserved recognition you received this year!
At the 2025 LEO Awards, our own David Parfit swept multiple categories for his outstanding film score work:
Best Musical Score in an Animation Program – David & Marc Junker for Denver Jackson’s The Worlds Divide;
Best Sound in a Short Documentary – David, Nico King, Jay Cheetham, Malcolm Owen-Flood, Prahlad Strickland, and Peter Robinson for Animal Pride;
Best Sound in a Feature-Length Documentary – David, Jay Cheetham, Zak Cohen, Maureen Murphy, Dean Giammarco, Gareth Baird, Tyler Gillis, and Nico King for Hunt for the Oldest DNA!
In addition, David and Marc won the 2025 Canadian Screen Music Award (CASMA) for Best Original Score for a Narrative Feature Film for The Worlds Divide.
As Monkey C Interactive’s resident Interactivator, David has been providing our signature boops and beeps since 2012. Every day at the Artcade, guests rave about his musical mutations—so we’re thrilled (but not surprised!) that the Screen Composers Guild of Canada and the Motion Picture Arts & Sciences Foundation of BC also recognized his brilliant work.
And a big shoutout to Denver Jackson, whose storytelling and artistry continue to earn acclaim worldwide. A book of Denver’s film art, along with his illustration of our beloved Registroid, is available for purchase at the Artcade.
👏 A standing ovation to you both!
